Innovation Description
Always curious about gadgets Anang first decided to develop an aid that assists blind people when a visually challenged lady asked him for direction. His innovation is a smart assisting aid that helps blind people navigate their surroundings.
The goggle uses the principle of echolocation used by bats to detect and locate any obstacle in front of the wearer such as electric poles, sign boards, people etc. and alarms the wearer through vibration. The closer the user gets to an obstacle, the stronger the vibration becomes.
Inspired by Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam who always encouraged young students to think innovatively and contribute to the field of science, Anang has a number of other science and technology based projects to his credit as well.
