Innovation Description
Subhash has made manual and automatic machines for processing of the biba fruit. In the manual machine, the fruit is kept in a container covered with transparent fibre glass. The force is applied through a hammer. One can process 150 fruits in an hour using this machine. The automatic version uses a chain based conveying mechanism to lift and put the fruit at the cutting section where it is cut by rotating blades. This machine running on a single phase motor can shell about 400 biba fruits in an hour.
