 zing Write-a-Thon- 8th Annual Writing Competition. The Essay Competition o
 ffers an opportunity to young minds to assess & pen down the immense role 
 that sports plays in the legal regime and explore the various legal avenue
 s where Sports as a subject has significantly emerged in the recent past.
 \nNational Sports Day is celebrated in India on August 29 every year\, to 
 commemorate the birth of great Indian hockey player Major Dhyan Chand. He 
 has won Gold Medals for India in Olympics in the years 1928\, 1932 and 193
 6 and placed India’s name in the international diaspora for sports. In the
  recent times and particularly with the unprecedented emergence of online 
 gaming portals\, several legal issues concerning sports and games in India
  have surfaced. \nSome suggested topics for the competition are as under:
 \nFor School Students – Category A\n\nGender Pay gap in Sports\nRole of co
 aches and Teachers on Sports Day \nThe importance of Teamwork in Sports \n
 Ambush Marketing in Sports Industry\n\nFor College Students\n\nLegal impli
 cation of Fantasy sports and Video games on Sports Team’s IP \nImpact of P
 atent Law in protecting Sports equipment innovations \nRole of IPR law in 
 Sports Branding and Merchandising\nThe Role of Sports in Promoting Inclusi
 vity and Diversity \n\nTHE PROCESS-\n\nInterested students from schools an
 d colleges are invited to submit their essays on any one of the abovementi
 oned topics (as applicable) before the deadline of August 29\, 2024.\nQual
 ified Experts and Judges appointed by IP4kids and S.S. Rana & Co. will sel
 ect the best 3 essays in each category.\nFollowing this\, the winners will
  be announced on https://www.ip4kids.in/ and on IP4Kids’ social media port
 als on August 30\, 2024 (Wednesday). Top 3 essays in each category will be
  awarded exciting prizes.\nAll participants will be given participation ce
 rtificates.\n\nLAST DATE FOR SUBMISSION-\n\nThe deadline for submissions o
 f essays is August 29\, 2024 at 11:59 PM IST.\nNo submissions will be ente
 rtained post the above-mentioned deadline\n\n\nRULES FOR PARTICIPATION:\n
