Poster and Essay Competition

Children’s Day’, popularly known as Bal Divas is celebrated every year on November 14 to mark the birthdate of India’s First Prime Minister Dr. Jawaharlal Nehru. Prime Minister Nehru was also known by the title of ‘Chacha Nehru’ considered children as the focal point of any developing nation and emphasized on the need to provide better rights, education and care to children, the future generation of India.

IP4kids, in collaboration with S.S.Rana & Co. is organizing a Poster making competition on various themes to encourage children and their creativity by providing a suitable platform for their talent.

POSTER MAKING COMPETITION- FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS ONLY

For the School going students, categories for the Poster making competition are chosen keeping in mind the collective thought of engaging with the interests of the kids along with the fulfilment of the primary purpose behind the establishment of ip4kids i.e. to attract young minds in the direction of Intellectual Property.

The poster must be appealing and bring awareness on any chosen topic of interest from the given categories as creatively as possible with the help of crayons, sketch pens, watercolors, etc.

THEMES FOR THE POSTER MAKING COMPETITION:

  • Metaverse
  • Court Scenes
  • Constitution Day ( November 26 )

Rules for Poster Making:

  1. In their entries, participants are required to write a description explaining their poster and its relevance with the chosen theme.
  2. The competition is open for school students only.
  3. The participants shall mention the following on the front page in bold letters–
    1. Name of the participant(s);
    2. Name of the School;
    3. Contact details including phone number and postal address;
    4. Participants should mention “IP4Kids – Children’s Day Poster Making Competition” in subject line;
  4. Entries must be original and in English or Hindi language only;
  5. Only a single entry will be accepted from one person and the entry shall be disqualified if it is plagiarized.

Participant will send in their entries as mentioned in points 1, 2 & 4 into one document/ pdf and submit the same on IP4Kids through email at info@ip4kids.in

THE PROCESS:

 Awards –

1.  The Awards would be given to the top three students.

2.  Top 3 winners will be given winning certificates.

3.  Other deserving participants shall also be presented with certificates;

Note: The competition intends to provide a platform for the students to share their views and to raise awareness among them. The decision of the Judges shall be final. The organizers of the competition reserve all rights to change the date of announcements of the results and/or the date of announcements and publication of the results. The organizers also reserve the rights to withdraw any or both categories of awards if the entries thus received do not meet the aforesaid criteria. The organizers also reserve all the rights for Publication and reproduction of posters, due credit in this regard shall be given to the creator(s) of such posters.

 

ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION -FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS ONLY

For the College going students, categories for the Essay writing competition are chosen to support and enhance their knowledge of the legal world and its association in reality. The theme of interest must be chosen wisely as they can yield the way for future opportunities,

THEMES FOR THE ESSAY WRITING COMPETITION:

  • Why do people buy fake goods/ counterfeits?
  • Future of the digital world: Metaverse;
  • Creating Innovation and protecting it.

Rules for Essay Writing:

  1. The competition is open for college students only.
  2. The essay must be within 3000 word limit, to be submitted in (one) PDF or Word file format through email at info@ip4kids.in
  3. The participants shall mention the following on the front page in bold letters–
    1. Name of the participant(s);
    2. Name of the College;
    3. Contact details including phone number and postal address;
    4. Participants should mention “IP4Kids – Children’s Day Essay Writing Competition” in subject line;
  4. Entries must be original and in English language only;
  5. Only a single entry will be accepted from one person and the entry shall be disqualified if it is plagiarized.

Participant will send in their entries as mentioned in points 1, 2 & 4 into one document/ pdf and submit the same on IP4Kids through email at info@ip4kids.in

We are looking forward to maximum participation. After thorough review, best posters/write- ups will be out for publication on the official website of ip4kids.
